Cade Dillard Tops Dirt Kings at Eagle Valley

Cade Dillard made his first DiscountShopTowels.com Dirt Kings Late Model Tour start Sunday night at Eagle Valley Speedway in the Independence Day Bash sponsored by Credit King Auto Sales and Kirkpatrick Law Office. Dillard won his heat race and had the most passing points and after the re-draw. he started third in the 30-lap race. Dillard charged to the inside of AJ Diemel on the first lap and challenged for the lead, but Diemel lead the first lap. Caution slowed the race one lap later. On the restart, Diemel jumped back to the lead as Dillard followed in second. Dillard worked to the inside of Diemel going into turn one on lap six and the two raced side-by-side onto the backstretch with Dillard advancing to the top spot. Dillard led the remaining 24 laps and worked through lapped traffic for the last half of the race. Dillard was all smiles in the Mueller’s Sales and Service Victory Lane as he held off a hard-changing Chad Mahder to win the Independence Day Bash.

Diemel finished third, followed by Stockbridge Engineering Touring King Ron Berna in fourth and fellow Stockbridge Engineering Touring King Brett Swedberg in fifth.

Fans at Eagle Valley Speedway were delighted to see both Cade Dillard and Brent Larson, regulars on the World of Outlaws Tour compete against the DiscountShopTowels.com Dirt Kings Late Model Tour drivers and local WISSOTA drivers.

With his win, Dillard also takes home a $100 bonus from Kirkpatrick Law Office as the top finishing World of Outlaws driver. Madher, Diemel and Jake Redetzke take home bonuses from Kirkpatrick Law Office as the top three highest finishing WISSOTA drivers.

With a eighth place finish, Justin Ritchie was the Sunoco Race Fuels Rookie of the Race and he earned an additional bonus from Kirkpatrick Law Office. Kyle Raddant finished sixteenth, earning an additional bonus from Kirkpatrick Law Office as the second highest finishing Sunoco Race Fuels Rookie.

Kirkpatrick Law Office also had additional bonuses for the top three Dirt Kings Tour drivers of Berna, Swedberg, and Ritchie.

Kirkpatrick Law Office gave a Hard Luck bonus to Derek Janke, who finished nineteenth.
